There was such an opinion. "The bath must be bigger!" In fact, in the winter of 2019, Nasu Animal Kingdom changed the capybara bathtub to a large one. However, this spacious bathtub doesn't seem to be popular with capybaras. Large, large spaces are comfortable for humans, but may not always be comfortable for other animals. Having a lovely warm bath the sweet capybaras. Now they are having those strawberries that are floating in the water like rose petals over their bodies. How enchanted they are!.
In Japan fruit costs a fortune, right? Strawberries are especially expensive. I wonder if this is some kind of celebration event (Christmas maybe) or they just have such a luxurious life.
Unlikely to be Christmas - too much snow unless it's Hokkaido. In winter, strawberries must be flown in from the southern hemisphere, so I would think it is some point in January. . don't think there is anything particularly special about the strawberries - they aren't that expensive in Japan. They favour enormous ones however, not realising that smaller ones normally have more flavour.
@Saison kitsune Thank you for the information! the "strawberry day" sounds really adorable. btw when if I got that strawberry, I'd secretly eat it by myself without giving it to capibaras haha

Capybara in nature lives in an environment of tropical climate. A snowy winter will never be comfortable.

Here we go again. Watching another random video of Capybara's in Japanese but oh my god. They are just too adorable
I don't understand, maybe they are seasoning the broth then to cook the pigs
@Schwalbe262 ahhaahha
They seem very popular in Japan, too. I can understand them being popular *anywhere,* but why Japan, specifically? Maybe because they're so zen?
So true.
they are totally unsuited for snow yet they dont seem to mind one little bit.... they are the most chill animals ever it seems....
I don't understand anything but i love them, they're so adorable
That is wonderful❢

Full service spa. Those capybaras are living the life.
I love to see them so chilled, are they fine with that cold?
Because they are tropical animals , not good at cold.
So in Japan there are many "capybara spa".
In this way they can spend even cold snow days well!
